Bio:

Associate Lecturer in Strategic and Defence Studies at the Australian National University, Canberra. I lecture on Transnational Security issues in the Asia-Pacific and Australia’s National Security.

Research interests include Australian security, the role of middle powers in the Asian century, irregular migration and the history of ideas.

I have published in The Australian, The Herald-Sun, and appeared on Triple J’s Hack program. I am available for interviews via the below email address.

I am finalising a PhD on Australian foreign policy and have graduated with first class honours in 2007 from the University of Canberra.
